Trauma affects not only the mind but the body and central nervous system as well. Trauma treatment addresses this with a safe, comfortable approach.

ALLAN ROWE, LCSW
Living with a mental illness is a difficult experience. It is more than your thoughts and feelings. It affects your physical well-being, your relationships, your job, your finances, and your overall sense of security. At the same time, the decision to reach out for help can also be difficult. The healing process does offer its own unique set of challenges. However, it is these challenges that allow individuals the opportunity for growth.
As a therapist, I understand the growing pains of the therapeutic process. I remain sensitive to the needs of my clients and always take a client-centered approach. I allow and encourage the patient to take the lead in their mental health journey while providing resources, insight, and guidance along the way. This approach allows the client to feel empowered while still having the safety and comfort of a support system at their side.
"IN ANY GIVEN MOMENT, WE HAVE TWO OPTIONS: TO STEP FORWARD INTO GROWTH OR TO STEP BACK INTO SAFETY."
- Abraham Maslow
