ALLAN ROWE, LCSW

Allan Rowe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Ocean Springs, MS. He currently lives and works in New Orleans, LA and is licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi.

Allan originally planned on becoming a high school teacher and football coach. He attended Mississippi State University and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Social Studies Education. He realized the classroom is not where he wanted to be. In 2013, he was accepted into The University of Southern Mississippi's social work program where he graduated with a Master of Social Work in 2015.

Since graduation, Allan has worked in both Mississippi and Louisiana. He has worked in outpatient settings, home and community-based agencies, inpatient psych, geriatric psych, and in intensive outpatient programs. 

​

Allan has experience working with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and the elderly. He has experience in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, borderline personality disorder, and substance use disorders. Allan is familiar with the treatment of opioid use disorders with the use of Suboxone and similar medications.

In his free time, Allan enjoys listening to music, going to shows, being on or in the water, painting, drawing, and playing rugby. He has a pit mix named Delmoe. Delmoe often spends her days sleeping at Allan's feet while he is working.
